Your guide to booking holiday accommodation in uMhlanga and Ballito

Category Holiday Accommodation

The process of booking a holiday in KwaZulu-Natal can be daunting, especially since the province is a tourism hotspot where holidaymakers have a wide selection of accommodation options to choose from.

The market is saturated with upmarket hotels, game reserves, self-catering apartments and campsites that make it a great location to spend time off. But as in all situations where there is an abundance of choice, booking a holiday can prove to be a confusing process if you do not have the right expertise guiding you.

And that’s where we come in. The Chas Everitt International holiday rentals division was established to simplify the whole process of booking holiday accommodation on the North Coast of KZN and ensure that our clients start to enjoy their time off before they even get here.

Our holiday rentals manager for uMhlanga, Nicolas Dekker, says:

“For example, our guests can rest assured that we are fully authorised by the owners to let all the properties listed in our portfolio. We also ensure that each property is presented accurately online with a series of pictures and clear descriptions.

“Furthermore, our division is fully compliant with The Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) and all our listings are registered with our community tourism office – Umhlanga Tourism.”

The holiday accommodation options listed with Chas Everitt International are generally “premium yet affordable” and we are also the preferred short-term rentals agency for some of the most iconic developments in uMhlanga, including The Pearls of uMhlanga and The Oysters of uMhlanga, where we have the biggest portfolio of rental units.

The booking process

Dekker notes that booking through Chas Everitt International is made effortless through dedicated booking agents.

“Guests can find out about our available accommodation by either calling us at (031) 561 3857, emailing one of our booking agents or submitting a booking enquiry via our website.

“Once received, the agent will respond with an electronic booking quote.”

He explains that the quote is based upon a guest’s budget, unique requirements and selected dates. Once this information is gathered, the booking agent will recommend available apartment options that are best suited to a guest’s needs.

“Alongside their booking quote, there is a link to the available apartments with a selection of photographs to help them make their decision.”

Premium accommodation

The Pearls of uMhlanga and The Oysters of uMhlanga offer superior holiday accommodation with panoramic views of the uMhlanga beach and beautiful swimming pools on site.

One of our listed self-catering units from The Oysters is a great example of the luxury accommodation to be found here. The unit is located on the 12th floor and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large wrap around balcony with sea views and a spacious open-plan living area with lounge, kitchen, dining and bar areas.

For a comfortable stay, the unit is equipped with necessities such as a microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and two fridge/freezers. And finally, luxury features include HD DSTV Explora decoders, flat screen televisions in all rooms, air conditioning with heating in the bedrooms and bar area, and free WiFi internet access throughout.

As many people are now planning vacations for the festive season, the Chas Everitt International holiday rentals division is ready to help. Our list of accommodation options is diverse and spans the North Coast from the vibrant community of uMhlanga to the ever-expanding town of Ballito.
