The history of the Lighthouse Property Group is one of constant growth, from its inception as Umhlanga & Coastal to its present position as the newly named “Lighthouse Property Group”.

The Lighthouse Property Group has spent the last eight years growing and establishing a reliable, professional and personal reputation in the Umhlanga area and surrounding areas.

Due to this steady growth and development of branches in other areas, we saw the very real need to establish a corporate brand identity, which could be used nationally and still be synonymous with the high standards we have set ourselves when it comes to property in Umhlanga and Durban North.

Hence, the Lighthouse Property Group was born. We currently have four offices in the province of KwaZulu Natal and look forward to further growth. Our offices are located in Umhlanga, Durban North, North Beach and Morningside.

We are proud of the quality staff and estate agents we employ, who are now specialists in their various fields, and offer a full property service under the Lighthouse Property Group banner, including residential property sales and long term property letting, holiday letting, as well as commercial property sales and letting, especially in the Umhlanga and Durban North area.

We are proud to have Etienne Louw, previously a Credit Manager for Engen Petrolium KZN, Thereafter he worked as a partner in a successful hydroponic farm in Hillcrest for seven years. He then joined Lighthouse Property Group in October 2002 as a Financial Manager. He assisted in the development of Holiday and Long Term software and he was promoted to General Manager in January 2009. His vision is to ensure ethical and outstanding client service before, during and after sales.

We believe the company’s continued growth is attributed to our highly committed team of estate agents, exceptional service and an unrivalled reputation for integrity.

Today, Lighthouse Property Group is equipped to handle every aspect of the real estate market, and holds the largest letting portfolio in Umhlanga. Our estate agents have been involved in the successful marketing and selling of several upmarket developments, namely Waterfall Cascades, Casa Playa and the Oysters, and have access to a broad client base as a result of the over 400 leased properties that we manage.
