Beaches & Bathing

Willards Beach is the main bathing beach for bathers, surfers and body boarders. 15 minutes walk south you will find Clarke Bay with its rocky pools. Further south you will find Ballito's tidal pool built on Ballito point. These beaches are protected by shark nets and have qualified guards on duty during the day.

Zimbali Golf Course

There is also the beautifully designed course at Zimbali, designed by international golfing supreme Tom Weiskopf. This course is both challenging and unforgettably beautiful, with breath-taking panoramic views of the undulating coastline and sea.

The Crocodile Creek and Reptile Park

The Crocodile Creek and Reptile Park is located 10 minutes from Ballito, taking the Tongaat offramp from the N2. Crocodile Creek is home to some 9,000 crocodiles, as well as snakes, monkeys, alligators and leguaans. Enjoy a guided 'hands on' tour with experienced guides of the working farm with the opportunity to touch small crocs and snakes. There is a curio shop where you can purchase souvenirs, and refreshments and snacks.
